With nearly 4 years experience in the Kansas City market and 15 years in the events industry, we’ve had the opportunity to bring some impressive events and photo moments to life. In the past, we’ve done everything from create step-and-repeat photo moments for national companies, to help design a bespoke beer garden for a professional trade show at the KC Convention Center.

1587 Prime + Noble 33 VIP Grand Opening

For the Grand Opening of 1587 Prime, Noble 33 wanted to create a photo moment for its VIP guests at the entrance of the restaurant. designwise KC was hired to create a memorable and upscale backdrop, based on the aesthetics of the new restaurant. We ended up with a dark green step-and-repeat, flanked by greenery and plants in matte gold planters. Noble 33 is part of the 1587 Prime ownership group, alongside Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) - Beyond The Field Events

When the National Women’s Soccer League was in Kansas City for its Championship game, designwise KC worked with the NWSL to help create photo moments for their Beyond The Field initiative. We created a custom astroturf backdrop, complete with a neon sign to match the program’s logo.

NAWLA Trade Show: Networking Beer Garden Design

designwise KC partnered with Between The Coasts Events to design a unique networking space for North American Wholesale Lumber Association’s annual trade show. NAWLA was interested in a comfortable, beer garden inspired “networking area” for all exhibitors and guests. We designed and helped coordinate aspects of the area, including red gingham linens, picnic tables, faux plants and trees, and beer themed centerpieces and floral accents. Florals: Sweet Chamomile, Venue: KC Convention Center.
